What would be a good candidate city to use as a comparison? How about San Fransisco (the Bay Area)? Both are beautiful coastal cities; with famous bridges; fantastic national parks nearby; mild climates.
This example has the Sydney house costing 110% more than an equivalent property in San Fransisco. On samples in this blog so far I have an average higher cost of 87%.
BTW can anyone explain to me why street numbers are so high in the US? DontBuyNow
